My Bored Little Friend - Water color crayons 2016

Into Your Garden - Multimedia banner 2016
For Rose Creek Village's "Ingathering" 2016
Vision by Nora Collins, designed and created by Rachel Fagan, Marlene Hidalgo, Nora Collins.
Given as a gift to Dave and Tracy Nicks

I loved this metallic, blue paint.

This is a representation of a combination of verses in the Bible.  It speaks of spices and herbs.
After the painting, I glued real cloves on and sewed cinnamon stick to the banner (pictured in first and last picture here)

The woodland creatures are the table cloth under the project and are not related ;)
After painting, I attached silk flowers and glued real frankincense to the project! (see first and last picture)

What I particularly loved about this project is the real aspects of it (the cinnamon, frankincense and flora) Also painted on were dates, pomegranate, figs, spikenard, aloe, saffron and the pink flower one that I can't remember the name of.  Secret: I did research online for every spice and fruit to find the perfect picture to copy and arrange in my design.

Woodland Nymph - Acrylic 2016

Lion of Judah - ball point pen 2015

1800's Ballgown 2014 - Curtains and lace from the Thrift store - under $15!
Created it completely from scratch, researched and made my own pattern.

Secret:  I used a homemade, duct tape dress form to my size - very useful!

Made it and wore it for play: A Christmas Carol 2014.
Sold it on Etsy a little cheaper than I should have! :)

Renaissance Chemise, Skirt and Vest 2015
Halloween. That's my brother being a golfer. I love to wear the skirt to church with regular tops.  It actually has a very tiny, white and grey gingham design on the fabric.

Also wore it with a steampunk corset - probably a little out of place but I loved it.

Made this awesome cape out of some soft but heavy blue fabric, later lined it with green to make it warmer. Inspired by Disney Princess Merida's clothes in Brave 2012
